Where I stand

Just read a chunk of Mocha Uson's newspaper article...

And no offense but... My english teachers taught me well!!! 😉

My educational (Benedictine) foundation molded me also in sticking to one idea and instilling in me to stand to just one side or stay neutral by shutting up...

Probably why St.Scho (our sister school) have been in the news cause of the controversy of letting student join their rally... Is because the Benedictine system of education has taught us to be consciously aware of our surroundings... And yes they asks us and our parents if we are willing to partake in these rallies... If we are willing to take a stand... If not we can simply stay inside the classroom or go to the library... They practice us by giving us options... And even teach us to debate on public matters or even religion as early as grade school. I remember I was grade 3 and our teachers would always asks us to choose a side and be a divided class just to have a debate on current issues as our oral recitation for the day. *so now you know where the taray-in-me came from*
Maybe it is too much for some but at least I know it was effective for me & some pals who graduated in the same institution as I did. We all would agree that we're people who stand by our chosen side. In Tagalog, may paninindigan kami!

And once and for all, I stand for the Philippines! I stand for the TRUTH! I stand for PEACE!
